Thank you Great Wolf Lodge for your warm welcome and the lasting memories. We were so disappointed we left and went to the Kalahari Resort across the street. For the prices charged for the rooms here there is no reason these attractions should not be in working order. All of the squirt gun devices or pump up the water devices are broken, to top it off the first tube slide they had at GWL is fenced up at the stairs and the splash down pool is boarded over. One thing I thought was really bad is that GWL is a Water park Hotel, the older section with the dump bucket is in complete disrepair. The kids attraction at the hotel was in disrepair with multiple devices either malfunctioning or not activating at all(magiquest). The loose Moose resteraunt was very over priced this year and was very slow in there service. The Camp Critter cafe was food that was just ok and was very bland. The arcade was not as fun, less games and an atm that charged like a five to 8 dollar fee to get cash. This year was a little bit disappointing. We are fairly loyal to great wolf lodge, we have been returning for years. THANK YOU GREAT WOLF for keeping this pack Howling for more! More Show less We enjoyed 2 nights and 3 full days here for slightly more than what you would pay for most ordinary hotels. The low season deal they had was TOO good to pass up. I also brought a toaster along and we only ate out 1 meal a day which really saved on costs. The large mini-fridge and microwave worked perfectly. Our room was spotless with new carpet, upgraded LCD TV, new mattresses, new comforters, fluffy AND flat pillows to choose from (very appreciated). The Clock Tower show has become very sentimental to us as well. I strongly feel this is one of the safest water parks we've EVER visited. The lifeguards were again top-notch - super attentive and friendly. The water park was a blast with it's wave pool, water slides, and I especially like the "Family Warming Tub" which is like a hot tub, but just very warm instead of hot and the all the kids love it. Our 9 year old was very in to the "role playing" magic of being a Master Magi and she spent hours running up and down stairs, climbing cargo nets and having a ton of active fun there. We took our MagiQuest wands from the last trip and the attraction was just as fun doing it a second time, and very reasonably priced for hours and hours of fun and friendly competition. This is far and away our 9 year old's favorite waterpark resort. Just got back from another perfect mini-vacation at Great Wolf. We enjoyed 2 nights and 3 full days here.
